Dear Class of 2002,
The holiday break is approaching quickly and so is my moving day, Dec. 21st. Yes, this year I plan to organize my house over the holidays, a stressful but exciting prospect. The best thing about it is that I have no other plans, which feels like a good way to end 2024, a year that has been... let's say 'intense'.
I hope we can hang out next year, perhaps online in January with Hannah, during our launch of '2002 Talks'? And I'll be in Florida in April for my Grandma's 100th birthday (!!). Anyone want to get together for '2002 Invites You' Ft. Lauderdale/Miami?

Yet Another Exciting Program from and for Class of 2002
We are launching “2002 Talks” in January. 2002 Talks will be a series of online conversations—on topics ranging from getting your kids into private school or college to anticipatory grief—from members of our class who are professionals in the relevant fields.
Kicking off the series will be a Talk with Hannah Knapp. Hannah is cofounder of WITHIN Meditation, San Francisco's first drop-in meditation studio. She teaches busy professionals simple, effective mindfulness practices to ease their stress, develop their focus, and create more clarity in their lives. Hannah will offer two free intro sessions for Class of 2002 on Friday, January 10. She’ll include tips for building a meditation practice for the new year and lead a brief meditation to get you started. There will be time for questions and to chat afterwards. Plan a minimum of 30 minutes into your calendar. If you are interested, please RSVP by adding one or both sessions to your calendar (not required, but very helpful).

Other Reminders
Plan to get together with classmates in your area! “2002 Invites You!” events can happen anytime, anywhere, and should be an opportunity for groups of alums to gather for a cookie, a coffee, or a cocktail, with support from 2002 Class Board. So far we’ve had meetups in Washington, DC; Seattle, WA; Eugene, OR; South Hadley, MA; Worcester, MA; and Hallowell, ME. Coming soon: Bay Area and Dallas/Ft Worth. Could you host an event near you? We have a toolkit to help!
And it is almost the end of the calendar year. Maybe you’ve noticed This is your gentle reminder to give to MHC before the end of the year, if that is in your tax plan. The College now accepts gifts via PayPal and Venmo.
